NAFD Annual Conference 2017

Preparations are well underway for what is set to be one of the NAFD’s most exciting conferences to date, which this year takes place at the Grand Hotel in Brighton.

This year’s event will be opened on the morning of Friday 5 May by Department for Work and Pensions’ Minister for Welfare Delivery Caroline Nokes MP.

The first full day of business will begin with the Annual General Meeting and will feature debates on key issues affecting the funeral profession.

Saturday’s programme of guest speakers includes the new Chief Coroner, His Honour Judge Mark Lucraft QC, and all the way from the US Lacy Robinson, the National Funeral Directors’ Association’s Director of Member Development. Further speakers will be announced in the coming weeks.

In addition to a packed and exciting business agenda, the event will also offer an opportunity to network with corporate partners, colleagues and associates in a social setting.

Association members are encouraged to register attendance here.
