Saturday’s Education Day at NAFD Annual Conference 2022, to be held from 5-8 May 2022 at Celtic Manor in the Usk Valley, Wales, is designed to enrich understanding of deathcare issues and support continuous learning within the funeral sector through a unique, professional development focus on caring for deceased and bereaved people.

At a time when the spotlight is being shone on the care of deceased people, through the David Fuller Public Inquiry, this ambitious one-day programme will blend speakers, experiential learning, debate and discussion, to inspire those at the beginning of their careers right through to those with many years of experience in funeral directing.

Topics for the day, which is supported by principal sponsor Ecclesiastical Planning Services, have been specially curated by NAFD President Kate Edwards, an experienced NAFD tutor. Key note speakers include Dr Jason Shannon, Lead Medical Examiner for Wales, Terry Arnett, NPCC Police Dog Chief Instructor for Warwickshire and MazWell Group, which will present a session on facial reconstruction techniques.

The NAFD Conference Education Day is open to the entire funeral profession – so why not invite your colleagues and employees along to support their professional development too?

Find out more about the programme for the weekend and book your Conference sessions, social events and accommodation packages on the NAFD Conference website: www.nafdconference.co.uk.
