The National Association of Funeral Directors champions the needs of its members, not only in ways that directly support the immediate prospects of their businesses – by offering financial, business and other benefits – but also by helping them to thrive in the longer term too – by campaigning on their behalf to policy makers, playing a leading role in shaping the future of funeral directing and promoting the reputation of member firms in the eyes of the public and other stakeholders.

The NAFD has been there to support its members through the myriad of challenges that have faced the profession since 1905 – but the support we provide today looks very different to that which we provided at the start of the 20th Century – in fact, it looks very different to the support we provided even a couple of years ago.

The funeral sector has faced some dramatic changes in recent years. And it’s a theme that’s set to continue in the years ahead. As your trade body, it is our responsibility to monitor, anticipate and respond to these changes, continually reviewing and evolving the support and benefits that we provide.

In recent years, the NAFD has completely transformed the way it works to ensure we can be flexible, nimble and responsive to members’ needs. A comprehensive review of the Association’s benefits of membership is now also underway, to benchmark them against the best in class across all business sectors and ensure we are providing proactive support on all key issues facing funeral firms.

There has, perhaps, never been a more important time to tap into the support we offer member businesses

Click here to find out why membership of NAFD – which remains the largest and most inclusive trade body for the funeral sector – has never been more important.
