Wales cross party group to meet at Senedd in November to review survey on the reuse of graves

After almost three years of virtual meetings, The Cross-Party Group for Funerals and Bereavement in Wales will meet at the Senedd in November.

The Group will review the findings of the informal consultation survey on the potential reuse of graves as a solution to the burial space crisis in the UK. The meeting will also consider the Bereavement Pathway following the loss of a child, and recently published Quality Statement for palliative and end of life care and its reference to the Wales Bereavement Framework and UK Commission on Bereavement recommendations. Updates on funeral plan regulation, following its implementation in July and how the energy/cost of living crisis is affecting funerals will also be on the agenda.
